Desserts - Cakes, Cookies, and Brownies
These aren't just brownies, these are BLONDE BROWNIES - the best tasting brownies ever!
1 1/3 sticks butter
1 pound box of brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
2 2/3 cup self-rising flour
1 cup chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)
1 (6 ounce) package of chocolate chips (milk or semi-sweet)
Melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat. Add brown sugar. Add 3 eggs one at a time beating well after each one is added. Add vanilla flavoring. Add self-rising flour a little at a time and mix well after each addition. Add nuts and mix well. Spread batter into greased and floured 13x9x2 cake pan. Sprinkle package of chocolate chips on top of batter (use the semi-sweet chips for a "Toll House¨ taste).
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
Let cool and cut into squares.
