‍Pecan Pick-ups (Tarts)

‍A favorite on any occasion, these pecan pick-ups are like little pecan pies that can be served as finger food. Makes 24.

‍

‍Crust - Ingredients

‍1 (3 ounce) package of cream cheese

‍1 stick butter

‍1 cup all-purpose (plain) flour

‍ 

‍Crust - Directions

‍Mix until smooth. Form into 24 walnut sized balls and chill 3 to 4 hours.

‍

‍Place in small size muffin pan and press firmly around the sides and bottom to form a pastry-like shell.

‍ 

‍Filling - Ingredients

‍3/4 cup brown sugar (packed)

‍1 teaspoon  vanilla flavoring

‍1 egg

‍1 tablespoon melted butter

‍1/2 cup chopped pecans

‍

‍Filling - Directions

‍Mix first four ingredients well and then mix in the chopped pecans.

‍

‍Put 1 teaspoon of filling into each cup of crust.

‍

‍Bake at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes.
