Introduction
Investigating my family tree has provided me with many hours of interesting detective work, but most of all it helps to bring history alive and gives me a glimpse of the details of some of the individuals who lived and died during the great events of history.
The Web is a great tool for researching family trees and I have tried to avoid guesses and conjecture by trying to find multiple sources of information. Even at that, there may still be some mistakes in my family tree. This is a work in progress so hopefully the picture will get better as time goes on.
