Lemonade (or Limeade) Pie

I think Mom found this on a carton of Cool Whip®, but it is easy to make and REALLY good especially as a cool summertime treat.

Ingredients

1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk; refrigerated

1 (6 ounce) can of frozen lemonade (or limeade)

1 (12 once) carton of Cool Whip®

1 graham cracker pie shell

Directions

In a medium bowl, mix the chilled milk and lemonade (or limeade). With a spatula, gently fold in the carton of Cool Whip®. Do not mix so much that it becomes soupy. Put into graham cracker pie shell and place in freezer until firm. You can garnish the top with a thin slice of lemon or lime.

Graham Cracker Crust (if you want to make it from scratch*)

Ingredients

2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1/4 cup sugar

7 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions

In medium bowl, combine cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup of sugar, and the melted butter. Press firmly on bottom and up sides of pie plate. Bake for 7 minutes and let cool completely.

*But I think it’s a lot easier to pick up a pie crust at the grocery store when you get the rest of the ingredients.
