OBITUARY from The Anniston Star - Sunday, March 31, 1968

James F. Martin, 60, of Ohatchee, Rt.2, died this morning at his residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Hebron Baptist Church. The Rev. Charles Huddleston will conduct the service. Burial will be in the Hebron Cemetery.

Mr. Martin is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Lou Martin of Ohatchee; three daughters, Mrs. Jess Hearren of Atlantic Beech, Fla., Mrs. Eugene Perry of Ohatchee, and Mrs. Eva Cates of Lake Charles, La.; three sons, William G. Martin of Ohatchee, Hamlin B. Martin of Ohatchee, and John W. Martin of Clarkesville, Tenn.; two sisters, Miss Laura Martin of Ohatchee and Mrs. Sam Hindman of Ohatchee; three brothers, Edwin Martin of Anniston and Blake and Ralph Martin, both of Ohatchee, and 14 grandchildren.

Mr. Martin was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County. He was a member and deacon of Hebron Baptist Church. He was a member nof Ohatchee Masonic Lodge and Woodman of the World.

The body will lie at the residence until time of service.
