Herbert I of Vermandois (ca. 848/850 – 907), Count of Vermandois, lord of Senlis, of Peronne and of Saint Quentin, was the son of Pepin of Vermandois.
He married Bertha de Morvois. Their children were:
1. Beatrix of Vermandois (880–931), married King Robert I of France.
2. Berenger of Vermandois, Count of Bayeaux.
3. Herbert II of Vermandois.
4. a daughter (ca 882 – 12 December 949), married 918 Udo/Eldo von Wetterau (d. 2 December 949).
