OBITUARY - Carrie Emma Williams Martin

Mrs. Carrie Emma Martin 84, of Ohatchee, Rt. 2, died Monday at 3:30 p.m. at Anniston Nursing Home after a long illness.
Funeral services will he held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Bethel Methodist Church with the Revs. A. D. McCombs and Charles L. Martin officiating. Burial will he in the church cemetery, Gray Brown Service Mortuary in charge.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Julian M. Hinds of Ohatchee; four sons, Charles of Vidalia, Ga., John and S. F., of Anniston and Robert of Ohatchee; three brothers, Lynton Williams of Tuscaloosa, Stanley Williams of Chamblee, Ga., and Lloyd Williams of DeOwen, Ark., eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Martin, a native of Calhoun County, had lived in the Peek's Hill community all her life and was a member of Peek's Hill Methodist Church.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home until it is taken to the church an hour before services.
