POOLE
Funeral services for Mrs. Etta Mize Poole, who died Monday in the Stephens County Hospital after a short illness, were held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of the Fred Northcutt and Son Mortuary, with Dr. A. T. Cline and the Rev. Oscar Anderson officiating. She was a native of Banks County, but had lived in Toccoa since 1928. Her husband was the late George Franklin Poole, who died in 1933. She was member of Damascus Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Ralph Poole, Seneca, S. C.; Tom Poole, Toccoa; H. S. Poole, Hazlehurst; eight daughters, Miss Ree Poole, Mrs. Kate Jarrett, Mrs. Dora Hughes, Mrs. Euda Lawrence, Mrs. Ruth Watson, Miss Rushie Poole, all of Toccoa; Miss Mandy Poole, Gainesville; Mrs. Eunice Walker, Mt. Airy; 42 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Stephens Memorial Park, with the Fred Northcutt and Son Mortuary in charge.
