The log cabin built by Robert A. Martin probably around 1842 when he and his family moved from Mississippi back to Alabama. This picture was taken about 1975 near Peek’s Hill in Calhoun County Alabama, where the cabin still stood where it was first built. The original one-room cabin (the left side) was later moved to Noccalulu Falls near Gadsden, Alabama for display as a Meeting House.
