OBITUARY - 12 Apr 1926

P. L. Martin, 75, of near Ohatchee, died at the family home this morning at 3 o' clock. Mr. Martin was well known over the county and had many friends who were grieved to learn of his death.

Surviving are four sons, J. and Stanley of near Ohatchee; Floyd and J. D., of Anniston; four daughters, Mrs. Daisy Patterson of Ohatchee, Miss Emma Martin, Mrs. Essie James, and Mrs. Linder Bonds, all of Anniston; two brothers, John Martin of Ohatchee and Ulysses Martin of Texas.

The funeral services will be held at New Bethel Church Tuesday afternoonat 2:30 o'clock, with Rev. Mr. McWhorton in charge.
