I am a cousin of Jessi Myers who recently contacted you concerning Harbins, Fowlers and Wilsons. She referred me to your site. I appreciate that you are sharing your research with us. I have been looking at several other surnames. I am a Stovall descendant and was checking out the Elizabeth Stovall and Wm Poole line. If the bk: "Descendants of Bartholomew Stovall (1665-1722) ( First Five American Generations)" by Donald E Bishop is correct, your Elizabeth Poole b 1786 is too old to be the dau of Mary Polly Coleman b16 Aug 1783 and John Poole b 28 Jan 1774. Their Elizabeth was b 4 May 1809 and m James Usry b 18 Feb 1805. John Poole is the son of Elizabeth Stovall the dau of John Sr (a Rev War Vet) the son of Bartholomew the one and only Stovall to immigrate to the US. The Stovalls have a nat org and a nat reunion abt every 3 yrs. Your Elizabeth must come from another Poole collateral line. Sorry to bring you news of a contradiction. This is the 2nd Stovall one I found this week and neither one of those involved is considering the other is right. I thought I had found a new cousin.
