William D. Poole, 59 of 325 E. 9th Street, died Friday at Talladega Nursing Home after a long illness.
Funeral services were held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Gray Brown Mortuary Service Chapel with the Rev. James Butler and the Rev. Ben L. Tapley officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery.
He is survived by three sisters, Miss Hazel Poole and Mrs. Ruby Spence of Anniston, and Mrs. Thelma Chance of Gadsden, one brother L.V. Poole of Talladega and his mother, Mrs. G.V. Poole of Anniston.
A native of Calhoun County, Mr. Poole was an automobile dealer and a member of the First Baptist Church of Ohatchee.
