GEORGE POOLE PASSES AT 68 AT HOSPITAL
Retired Real Estate Man to Be Buried Tomorrow Afternoon
 
George Vell Poole, 68, of 816 Quintard Avenue, died at Memorial Hospital last night at 11 o'clock. 

A resident of Anniston for the last 10 years, Mr. Poole has lived in the County most of his life.  Before moving to Anniston, he made his home at Ohatchee.  He was a retired real estate dealer and a member of First Baptist Church.  
 
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 3 o'clock from the First Baptist Church by the Revs. Garrett Graham and Webb Brooks.  Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Usrey in charge.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Lula Clemmie Poole, two sons, Douglas and L.V. Poole, both of Ashland, 3 daughters, Mrs. N.D. Spence of Sylacauga, Mrs. B.V. Chance of Gadsden, Miss Hazel Poole of Birmingham, three brothers, A.L., J.C., and W.O. Poole; two sisters, Mrs. Will L. Simpson and Mrs. T.H. Connor, all of Ohatchee, and eight grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be J.A. Chandler, C.F. Dear, J.O. Doss, L.A. Haynes, C.C. Leslie and Dewitt Saxon.  The Men's Bible Class of First Baptist Church will be honorary pallbearers.
